The academy

A child’s first class can become a lifelong relationship with the stage.

Since 1995, The Academy of Chinese Performing Arts has taught Chinese classical and folk dance, ballet foundations, and stage repertoire in the Bay Area. The academy values long-term development: posture, technique, body rhythm, expression, and composure on stage.

Students may begin for enjoyment and cultural connection, then choose performance or competition pathways when they reach the appropriate level.
